Its value is proven well beyond the justice sector. Purple Scribe is an MHRA-registered Class I medical device and in 2024 was developed with the University of Warwick for NHS continuing healthcare, where it is in live use across the Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICB inside the IEG4 platform.

Purple Scribe has been deployed across multiple prisons since 2023 and is in daily use for keywork at four G4S prisons: HMP Parc, HMP Rye Hill, HMP Oakwood and HMP Five Wells, where officers run their sessions, Scribe drafts the write-up and the officer reviews it before upload to the Digital Prison Service. In 2024 it was developed with the University of Warwick for NHS continuing healthcare and is now in use across the Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICB inside the IEG4 platform.
