Device controls are only half the picture: without protection at the network layer an establishment is still exposed to malicious websites, bots and content that has no place in a secure environment.

Ark DNS is a cloud based DNS filtering service that gives establishments control over exactly what their network can reach. Traffic is filtered by more than 70 content categories, malicious websites and bots are detected and blocked automatically and unknown sites are scanned and categorised by AI for instant protection against new threats as they emerge. There is no software to install on devices, custom allow and block lists can be set per group and full analytics show which sites were visited and which were blocked.

Ark DNS complements Purple MDM and MPoS device security to protect the estate end to end. Safeguarding is built in, with enforced SafeSearch on Google, Bing and YouTube and the Internet Watch Foundation and Google Web Risk included as standard, while a global Anycast network with auto scaling capacity keeps the service fast and available wherever it is deployed.
